Naomi Shobha is an award winning JUNO & ECMA nominated singer / songwriter / performing & recording artist based in Canada.
Since debuting on the music scene in 2008, Naomi's music has been garnering attention from around the world including earning her Astral Media’s Songwriter of the Year title at Canadian Music Week after winning first place in their Canadian Radio Star competition.
Signed to a world-wide publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing, Naomi has collaborated with a variety of artists like Alan Doyle, Rupee, Ria Mae, Bobby Bazini, Alex Lifeson, Jhyve, Crystal Kay, NIIVA, The Dark Tenor, Nice Horse, Michie Mee, The Barra MacNeils, AHI, Lighthouse, Gus, Victoria Duffield, Tyler Shaw, Theo Tams, Jordan Alexander, Emma Lamontagne, Kolton Stewart, Tep No, Carolina East, W Darling, Quote The Raven, Wild, Martina Ortiz Luis, The Heist, Ana Golja, and many others.
Naomi contributed to the soundtrack of Degrassi Next Class on Netflix with 5 songs including the main theme as both artist and songwriter.
She has performed for government dignitaries in Ottawa for Canada's 150th Anniversary Celebrations, Toronto's RICOH Coliseum, The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), the International Indian Film Academy Awards, as well as the half-time show for the Toronto Argonauts (CFL) at the Rogers Centre.
Currently putting the finishing touches on her new EP, recent songs "Version Of Me", "Part Of The Process", "Traitor" and "Not Gonna Let You Love Me" can be heard on all streaming services.
